SG stands for Shockguard which automatically sheilds the contactsby means of a shutter when the lamp is removed with T2 heat resisting materialto BS EN 61184 and are therefore capable of operating with a lamp cap temperature uo to 210 degrees C
Incorporates a SG lampholder (1150 WHI), heat resisting PVC insulated and sheathed flexible 0.75mm2 two core circular cable complying with BS 6500: 2000 (Table 29) and a ceiling rose fitted with line, neutral, loop-in and earth terminals (1161 WHI).
This assembly will support a light fitting of up to 3kgs.
Shockguard SG Type lampholders automatically shield contacts by means of a shutter when the lamp is removed.
All MK SG Type lampholders are heat resistant to category T2 of BS EN 61184 and are therefore capable of operation with lamp cap temperatures up to 210 degrees C.
