Designed for all tiles including porcelain, polished porcelain and granite
It is designed specifically for use in cordless machines on ROTARY ONLY particulary the 18volt combi range.
The drill should be used without coolant lubricant making it simpler and less messy to use than mini wet diamond cre drills on the market
Drill hole in tile up to the WHITE ring on drill and continue with a masonry drill
The optimim cutting speed is the low speed setting at full trigger pressure, depending on the machine you are using this is between 400-450RPM, with a firm pressuse of 35-35kg, you should be able to hear the drill scratch the surface of the tile
The drill can be used on a mains machine but the RPM should bet set at 200RPM
In between holes allow the drill to cool naturally as this will also extend the life of the drill.
Sudden cooling by dipping in water will work but will shorten the life
Once you are through the tile use a masonry drill provided in the set to drill your anchor hole
If you have a Yellow wall plug (5.0-5.5mm) we would recommend that you use a 6mm tile drill followed by a 5.0-5.0mm masonry drill. This allows sufficient expansion room to avoid the risk of cracking the tile
