A 4 Pair high performance cable that consists of twisted pair conductors, used mainly for data tansmission. Category 6 supports a frequency range of up to 250MHz and is designed for transmission speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second. Also featuring a tinned copper ripcord internally to make the stripping of the sheath easy. This variant (FTP) has a metal foil surrounding the twisted pair that screens against interferance from other data and electrical cables. The PE Jacket is manufactured from (HDPE) Low Density Polyrthylene giving it a tough exterior and making it ideal for exterior installations that come into contact with the sun or other UV sources.
