The original, highly durable, easy to strip, dress and terminate. Approved for fire detection and fire alarm critical signal paths in BS5839-1:2002 "standard" application areas, voice systems to BS5839-8-1998 (Amd 2006) and emergency lighting to BS5266-1:2005.
The changes to cable test methods and requirements first introduced by BS5839-1:2002 "Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems for buildings - Part 1: Code of practice for system design, installation, commisioning and maintainence" means that fire resistant cables must be approved against fire test requirements. This cable is supplied in 100 Metre Coils , and sets the "GOLD" standard for fire resistant cables.
Key Applications include - Fire Detection and fire systems for buildings, voice alarm systems, emergency voice communication, emergency and escape lighting, other essential service control circuits for standard fire resistance.
